Previously, Solar for London worked with a number of community groups and schools to install both solar thermal and solar photovoltaic panels on their buildings, with an excellent track record of securing 100% funding for these installations and providing a comprehensive package of advice and information.

We have worked closely with local council energy officers to carry out site surveys, liaise with installers and manufactures and secure grant funding for the schools.

Organisations benefit from these installations through having an onsite teaching resource to get a first hand insight into how renewable energy systems work and through onsite metering they can see exactly what energy is being produced and how much CO2 is being offset.
